Cancellation
Changing or cancelling a rental
Plans change. The nearer your rental date, the harder it is for us to re-let the piece — so the refund tapers.
Refund schedule
| When you cancel | Rental fee refunded | Deposit |
|---|---|---|
| More than 14 days before the rental start | 100% | Returned in full |
| 7–14 days before the rental start | 80% | Returned in full |
| 3–6 days before the rental start | 50% | Returned in full |
| Less than 72 hours before the rental start | 0% | Returned in full |
The security deposit is always returned in full on cancellation — it is only ever touched for damage or a late return on a rental that actually happened.
Cancelling more than 14 days out? You can also take 100% store credit instead of the refund — handy if you already know you will rent again. Just say so when you cancel.
Why it tapers
A cancelled rental does not free the calendar in the way you might expect. We hold the piece from the preparation days before your rental through the cleaning days after it. Cancel three days out and that window is almost impossible to re-let for someone else’s event.
Moving your dates instead
Changing dates is usually better than cancelling, and free if you tell us seven or more days ahead and the piece is available on your new dates. Message the studio and we will move the booking without re-charging.
Inside seven days we will still try. If we can move you, we do; if we cannot, the schedule above applies.
If we cancel
Very rarely, a piece comes back damaged beyond what we can repair before your date. If that happens we will tell you immediately, offer the closest alternatives in your size at the same price or lower, and refund in full — including the delivery fee — if nothing suits.
How to cancel
Open the rental in your account and use Cancel rental, or message us on Viber or Messenger with your rental number. Refunds return to the original payment method within five banking days.
