Late returns

Returning on time

A late return is not a small thing here — the next renter's event is already on the calendar behind yours.

The deadline

Every rental is due back by 8:00 PM on the return date shown on your booking. For deliveries, our rider collects on that date within your chosen window; for pickups, you return to the studio during shop hours (Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM).

Grace period

Up to 12 hours late — no charge. Life happens; a same-night delay does not cost you anything.

The fee ladder

After the grace period, the late fee is a share of your rental fee, deducted from your security deposit at inspection (and invoiced separately where it exceeds the deposit):

How lateFeeOn a ₱1,800 rental
1 day late25% of the rental fee₱450
2 days late50% of the rental fee₱900
3 days late75% of the rental fee₱1,350
4–7 days late100% of the rental fee₱1,800
8–14 days late150% of the rental fee₱2,700
More than 14 days lateThe item may be considered lost — see below

Fees are per tier, not per day: a return 3 days late owes 75% once, not three separate charges.

When it displaces another booking

Because every piece has 4 days of turnaround built in, a return that is two or more days late can force us to cancel the next confirmed rental. Where that happens the renter is also liable for that booking’s refund, invoiced separately from the deposit.

Need more time? Extend instead

Request an extension at least 24 hours before your return date on Viber or Messenger. Extensions are subject to availability — if the piece is free, the extra days are charged at the normal rate, which is always cheaper than the late fee.

More than 14 days overdue

The item may be considered lost. The renter may be charged the full replacement value stated on the rental agreement, plus outstanding late fees and applicable collection costs, less the deposit held.
