Finding your size
Letter sizes vary wildly between designers. Every listing carries the garment's own measurements — this page shows you how to read them.
Measure yourself first
- Bust — around the fullest part, tape level and snug under the arms, wearing the bra you plan to wear.
- Waist — the narrowest point of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips — the fullest part, roughly 20cm below the waist, feet together.
- Shoulder — across the back, from the bone at one shoulder to the other.
- Height and heel — floor-length pieces are hemmed to your height plus heel.

Children
Kids pieces are sized by age (4Y–10Y) but cut generously. Go by the height guide on each listing rather than your child’s age — a tall six-year-old is usually an 8Y.
Reading a listing’s measurements
The numbers on a product page are the garment’s measurements, taken flat and doubled — not body measurements. Compare them against a piece you already own and love the fit of. That is far more reliable than comparing to your body, because ease differs by cut.
- Fitted and corseted pieces — choose the size closest to your bust measurement; the lacing or boning handles the waist.
- Column and slip cuts — go by hips, which is where these silhouettes pull.
- Wrap and A-line — very forgiving; go by bust and let the tie do the rest.
- Between sizes — size up. We can take a piece in for free; we cannot let out what is not there.
